Sicknick's Family...Could they Sue Trump for Wrongful Death?

But, much like the OJ trial, could Sicknick's family sue Trump for his actions on 1/6?

Doubt it. So far, they cannot even prove murder by anybody. Some of the others injured or killed with proof it was in the insurrection might be able to implicate trump, though.

Wrongful death is a lesser standard. My question was more along the lines of a peace officer suing someone if they are killed in the line.

Same basic answer. I have not seen proof that Sicknick was in-fact injured in the insurrection. Fire extinguisher? I don't think so and there was no video or eye-witness testimony. Bear spay. Sorry. The Capital police used chemical defenses and use chemical offensively to control situations and have goggles to protect selves if necessary. Sad that he died but at this time, cannot be definitively linked to trump's insurrection. Sicknick family is the least of Donny's worries.
