Sicilian pizza is pizza prepared in a manner that originated in Sicily, Italy. In the United States, the phrase Sicilian pizza is often synonymous with thick-crust or deep-dish pizza derived from the Sicilian sfincione (source of information: Wikipedia).

Pizza from Sicily is usually thick, rich, and creative, reflecting the robustness and stylish intelligence of the people, which is why Americans think of Sicilian pizza as 'deep-dish' or 'cheesy-thick-crust'!

Sicilian pizza is similar (in some minor ways) to Neapolitan pizza, but it differs in its munchie presentation.

When we think of Sicilian pizza, we might think of 'cultural education,' which makes for terrific 'sage imagination.'

Do you have a personal favorite Americanized way of preparing 'Sicilian pizza'?
