A plagiarist who got it all wrong and a man who knew better than his God .

Come on Pink Cabbage .
Play the kid's game properly .
? Wait I thought we were being serious. One could argue Luther saved the Catholic Church from itself.

My choice:

Gustav Theodor Fechner is one of the most overlooked discoverers of one of the most underestimated phenomena (and one that is viewed very uncritically), which is still known today as ‘Why the moon is made of green cheese!’ (in the original: ‘Why the moon is made of iodine’). Gustav Theodor used this to criticise the scientific methodology of his time. Strictly speaking, he scientifically proved beyond doubt that the moon is made of iodine (a popular panacea). We owe him – and a few others such as Wilhelm Wundt – one of the most important and widely underestimated scientific disciplines: psychophysics. Today's common name: perception psychology.

I hope you know these names.
Who would you say is the best of these?
Depends on what your goal is. Mozart and Bach have made millions of people happy for centuries. Einstein expanded the frontiers of science.

Bismarck unified Germany. Luther gave us the 30 years war.

So what's your goal?

I choose Mozart.

No. Both of them were Austrian. Hitler was born in Braunau am Inn and Mozart was born in Salzburg long before the Anschluß. ...

Everyone in Salzburg was a German .- Austrians are Germans. The so called Prussians not had been Germans - but the Duke of Brandenburg inherited Prussia and the title of King in Prussia, renaming Berlin and Brandenburg ‘Prussia’. Today, Prussia itself is the Russian enclave of Kaliningrad Oblast.

Once upon a time, five wild swans flew by,
swans bright white and beautiful.
‘Sing, sing, what happened?’
None were seen again.

Once upon a time, five young lads
went out proudly and boldly to battle.
‘Sing, sing, what happened?’
None returned home.

Once upon a time, five young girls grew up,
slim and beautiful on the banks of the Memel.
‘Sing, sing, what happened?’
None wore a bridal wreath.

By the way: Albert Einstein is not thinkable without Switzerland. He is both German and Swiss (=Aleman) - and for sure he is also American - but Switzerland gave him the chance to be the Albert Einstein the world knows today. Only in the year 1905 he wrote three articles each worth a Nobel Prize. I reckon he probably had deserved more than a dozen Nobel Prizes in total.

my goal is your opinion 👍

No. Bismarck destroyed Germany and created an idiotic centraliced Prussian nation which the Prussians called Germany.
There was no Germany before Bismarck.

What a stupid nonsense. Do you really expect an answer - and if you would get one would you read and try to understand?
Of course I would understand. You're good at arrogant, you just can't back it up.

Martin Luther: 1483 -1546 AD
Thirty years war: 1618 -1648 AD

The begin of the reformation is usually dated 1517. This was 101 years before the thirty years war.

Yeah, Luther was the REASON for the 30 years war. I didn't say he started it.

there was, of course

not as a nation state, but as a cultural and linguistic unity.
Never claimed there wasn't. But they were constantly fighting each other for more land and power.

15th post
unfortunately so

that is why the German anthem wishes unity

.... and justice ... and freedom
Which Bismarck finally accomplished, only to have Wilhem and Hitler piss it away.

you know a lot about Germany!👍
how come?
I read history books incessantly, so I know a lot about a lot of places. I also travel a lot, well I did before I got old.

So I would study the history of the places I was going to.
