This Deep Stater needs to be questioned by the FBI once they finish re-organization.

It's clear his angry tone is a defensive reaction to a valid question.

This is the guy that replaced the former SS director who claimed that slanted roofs are too difficult for the Secret Service to negotiate.

Methinks the weasel doth protest too much

OP hit it on the head. "Acting" Secret Service Director is very apt for that cornball hamming it up.

Under Trump, I hope senior officials of agencies created by Congress who refuse to answer questions from Congress will be shown the door.

It's becoming quite obvious by now that the SS didn't care if Trump was whacked.

The SS could have even been aware that Trump's team engineered the whole thing. All that's needed to make it work was there being a vial of pig's blood standing ready below Trump's podium.
and the event that keeps it politically unacceptable to discuss is the sacrifice of Corey!

How could any American stoop to that level again after the gov whackd the Kennedys?

This guy had plenty of excuses for their complete failure to plan for a sniper attack.

They half-assed this mission, and everyone in the room knows it.

He wasn't director during the assassination attempt.

Have you been a drama queen your whole life?

He wasn't director during the assassination attempt.
He was in senior position at secret Service. They would have appointed someone outside the service if they really wanted to get to the bottom of what happened. He said at his first hearing that the sniper who waited is “a friend of mine” and “is still operational.”

Why?

This guy is doing the typical cover, stonewall and bluster we see so often from the entrenched bureaucracy.
