Shouldn’t conservatives want Trump to have a ‘low-ish’ approval rating?

I get nervous every time I see his approval rating climb…The first thing I wonder is; what is he doing that could possibly make the left happy?
We need Trump to be detested by the populous in New York and California…When he is we can be sure he is doing good work for good real core Americans.
Am I looking at this the wrong way?

He should disregard these numbers, he can't worry about polls, he loves to look at ratings and whatnot but the truth is, the silent majority which he spoke about is hardly giving feedback in such polls.

He needs to do one thing: keep his campaign promises.

That's it. If he does that, his legacy will be set. From what I can tell he is going way beyond that with thoughts of Greenland, the Panama Canal etc. You can be sure that voters want to see action by their leaders. They want to see a guy out there hustling and taking charge just as they need to everyday.

A billionaire who has the energy of a 25 year old. I even saw a Japanese interview where the lady said (before he was elected again) that he is a good role model for the young because he is illustrating that even as one ages they can be tireless.

As one who had endless energy in the work environment one has to respect that. Polls, sure you like to see them higher rather than lower but ultimately many try to influence him and it's difficult to take them seriously. The debt and employment numbers at the end of his term will be the real score keeper.

Any poll can be manipulated. Political Science 101

I think it'd be pertinent to first define what conservative actually means.

It sure as shit ain't borrowing another two trillion, I can tell you that much.

Trump IS detested by the Far Left. His high poll numbers merely reflect the good news that more and more former democrats and independents are falling out of the wacky democrap party and seeing increasing merit in Trump's aims, actions and goals.

Sadly, fiscal responsibility is a thing of the past in politics.
Neither party can win an election without promising to spend like 19 year old drunk sailors trapped in a whorehouse full of 22 year old virgin playboy models.
