I actually rarely wear a bra when I'm at home, but I don't like being out in public without one on. The only time that I did that was when I went to the beach and I forgot to bring one to change into after I went out for ice cream afterwards. I just prefer to have one on in public even though I'm pretty sure that people won't know. I'm pretty flat chested anyways.

Well, I suppose it is a personal choice. I'm not really sure the reason for bras other than modesty. I suppose if you are a C or D cup, you really need one, but they don't seem to prevent sagging since everyone wears one yet older women still sag, and I would assume that was their main purpose for wearing?

Does that make a brassiere an affectation?

In some parts of the world like Europe, people seem much less concerned with bosoms than here in America.

Oh BTW, in every historical instance when a society devolved into debauchery and moral decay, soon after, that civilization collapsed.

I've seen them trying to smuggle raisins thinking they could hide them with bras.

Lol it doesn't surprise me one bit that Auld Phart voted yes as I expected nothing less from guys. I should have specified that this question was more directed at women.

Well, to be fair CK, this might be a matter more for men anyway. Maybe a proper thread for the women might be on whether guys should wear boxers or briefs.

Men invented the corset and brassiere, the hoop skirt, the maternity bra, the push up bra, and the half bra. Guys also invented wet tee-shirt contests. No one wears a bra to a wet tee shirt contest.

Apparently bras have been around a long time. We know they were around as far back as at least the 4th century as this fresco was unearthed from the 4th century showing them.

Starting around about 100 years ago, bras started going from purely functional to fashionable.

thrills are few and far between

Where do you stand on colored bras? Frankly, I'm kind of sick and tired of plain old white, sometimes it is nice to see a colored bra that coordinates with or against the colors of the overlying material.

Seriously? Raisins? 🤣

Especially when they are walking out of a walk-in freezer.

Down boy! 😂

I have different colored sport's bras myself. Again, flat chested.

As for boxers or briefs on men for me,... Part of me says that I couldn't care less but that's my Pinocchio side as I say neither. At least when it comes to my man. 😁

I've "liberated" many women from that repression in my youth. Not so much anymore. Now they usually liberate themselves rather quickly but they tend to be saggy.

TMI, but definitely provided some needed humor for a change. 🤣

Well one mod has found this thread and I'm still alive, but you do realize that there's a boxers or briefs thread as well right and that one is older. 😂
