Should Trump do ANY press conferences, or just let his press secretary handle the "Free Press"? (Poll)

Trump could do real press conferences with a hostile press, but why should he, Biden didn't.

If Trump's press secretary gets a question she doesn't know the answer to, all she has to say is "I need to circle back to you on that".

So my poll question is: If you were Trump, would you have any real press conferences?

Press conferences of his were direct, thorough and informative in his first term. Why not do them again from time to time? It brought a new transparency to the W.H which just reinforces his legacy and willingness to communicate with Americans.

I was thinking about that too but more on the daily type by the press secretary.....I'd not have them every day and when I did the MSM would never be called upon to ask a question. They have not earned the right.

Of course, Trump really likes to answer questions on the fly so I doubt that will change.

His CoS needs to tell everyone working for Trump that they are not to do anything but live on-air interviews (if any) so taped interviews can't be edited to suit the MSM agenda.

They just cut them up, paraphrase, spin, lie by omission, etc. He should just broadcast directly to the American people. That way you can hear what he says, word for word, in context, without some egghead telling you how you should interpret what was said.

During trump's last admin didn't he stop the daily briefings given by the press secretary? He seemed to prefer communicating by way of social media, and I suspect he will again, because he now owns a social media platform. I hope you see the inherent conflict of interest that represents, but I'm not expecting it.
