In the cities whose teams are in the Super Bowl?

In the winning team's city, yes.

It would inconvenience too many parents. Half the state might have to shut down. Not a great idea for the economy IMHO.

Late opening might be a better idea.

If NO wins, I bet most kids cut school anyway.

Bourbon Street will BURN

Yeah, it's funny, here all the Catholic Private Schools are closed on Monday because of the game, but all the public schools are open. Some have a one or two hour delay, but most do not.

Our kids will have Monday off. Sad part is that most won't even be able to watch the game. I am not optimistic about this power business.

And EZ - Catholic schools look for any excuse to close. They expect the moms to stay home anyway. Lol

NO.

Since when is a children's game played by overpaid loosers more important than learning?

Why would they close anything in Indiana after the Colt's lose? Is the whole state going on suicide watch?

"But there is no joy in Mudville— mighty Casey has struck out."

Good Luck Saints!! You are going to need it against Peyton and his Colts......

Maybe, especially since bus drivers like to call in, in certain cities.

I did hear this year they are starting school an hour later!

i say NO
give one good reason for this

The last time the Colts played a bunch of bus drivers called in sick, making it hard for kids to get to school. I don't live there but I bet it was a mess last time.
