Which is a problem IMO because of the way players are paid. They get game checks. Their pay isn’t spread out over the entire year the only money Darnold or anyone playing in that game was paid was the bonus money. Their contract amount is for the regular season not POs.

The 33 million was for the regular season dumb ass. Players get paid the PO bonus because otherwise they wouldn’t be paid for playing those games. California has by far the highest jock tax rate of any having an NFL team. Blue states have the highest. Shazam. Red States either have a much lower rate or no jock tax at all.
