I would vote out the current school board and fire the lawyer.

And in some workplaces, it's acceptable.

Not in our schools, not by our educators.

Historically, teachers are held to a higher standard. At least they used to be. And they're going to be again. People used to value children, and it was accepted that teachers were expected to toe the line when it came to behavior. A rumor that someone was drinking..or even dating...could be grounds for firing.

We have had generations of lazy entitlement punks who get into teaching because it's easy and fairly lucrative for those asshats who have a desire to make money doing not much at all.
