There appear to be safe and effective vaccines already.
Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, has stated that independent Data and Safety Monitoring Boards can end trials early if their interim results are overwhelmingly positive or negative.

So should the Trump family and administration officials volunteer to take the leading vaccines to prove efficacy and safety?

The Trump Family already had the Corona virus, why not give it to someone who hasn't

They might..on the sly. I say that because Trump knows his base has a lot of anti-vaxers so he may hem-haw when asked if took a vaccine shot.

No silly, Trump and Melania, won't need a vaccine now, if ever.... they've already been infected and for the near future, will be immune from catching it again.

Won't prove a Damn thing on the efficacy for the new vaccine, using them!!!

I believe Ivanka already said she would, but no, there is no reason they should have to volunteer.

Why the hell would he have to if he already had the virus..........lmao
1. Because you can get COVID twice.
2. Because we do not want the infection to spread throughout the Federal government, especially the critical WH staff.
3. I was alarmed that so many anti-vaxers are out there. If the Trump family got vaccinated that might change minds.

You can bet your ass that the President is receiving "proven" Covid vaccines.

No, you can NOT take a vaccine while already infected.
All a vaccine would do if you are already infected, is make you much sicker and risk death much greater.

NO!
1. Sure you can get any infection an infinite number of times, but one you get it, you have immunity and are asymptomatic from then on. And you no longer can be infectious to others, or have any reason to be vaccinated.
2. Since already infected, Trump already is a threat of spread, so a vaccine now would be totally and completely useless. All it would do is make him sicker and his immune system even more over worked. You NEVER vaccinate someone who is infected. It can be fatal to do that.

They might not be immune, there are different strains and there have been reported cases of people getting it twice.

On the other hand, you really can't make a vaccine for a future disease that is radically different from the current one when you don't know what mutations it will undergo.

Wrong.
Of course you can get infected twice, or a million times.
Immunity does NOT at all mean you don't get infected.
All immunity means is your immune system is good at identification and eradication, so you are asymptomatic from then on.

You don't need a vaccine for something you already have immunity to.
Vaccines also do not prevent infection, just make you asymptomatic.
