Should Presidental election day be a holiday?

No, it's not necessary what with all the early voting throughout the country. There are only a few states that don't have it in some duration.

Lots of people work on holidays. America has had elections on regular work days for its whole history, never stopped people who really wanted to vote from voting before.

I just checked and 38 states have in-person early voting.....No extra holiday to fleece the tax-payer needed.

Which would be normal. Hospitals don't shut down for holidays for example. Cops still work on holidays. McDonalds is still open on most holidays. I could go on.
