at the initial sign up.....
That's fine as long as one then has to show one's ID in order to prove one is actually the person on the voter roster.
why? who votes in another person's place at the polls and taking the risk of getting caught and charged with a felony? no one.
Anyone can register to vote, then vote. No ID is required at either end and it is illegal to ask for proof of citizenship. All that is required is the persons "Attestation" that they are legal.
Surely no illegal person who is here ILLEGALLY would ever lie on a form!! No way!! They also never remove a tag from their mattresses!! It also why "gun free zones" never have gun violence.....
Title 42 - The Public Health And Welfare Chapter 20 - Elective Franchise Subchapter I-h - National Voter Registration | CRT | Department of Justice
Mickey Mouse, registered to vote, with signature of stating he is a citizen....when the State receives the application, they verify the applications and then approve the application, before the person is actually registered to vote...and guess what, the State denied Mickey Mouse the voters registration card and Mickey's name never showed on the voter rolls....
the State needs to verify citizenship as one of the things, where the person lives as another, their age as another.....whether a felon or not as another etc etc etc....
The STATE needs to use e-verify and basically throw out the applications for those not citizens....their names will never make the voter rolls.
