By the way: "Vaterland" (fatherland = God the Father's land) is a word sung in the German "Muttersprache" (=mother tongue). The text is by the way from the year 1841.

The word "deutsch" comes from the very old Germanic word "thiot". It means ~ "to be united by using the same language". Meaning: You are united with everyone as long as you do not need an interpreter to understand the other one. The USA you are for example in German able to call correctly "the German States of America". But in this case a weird US-American could kill you because he might think you like to conquer the USA. The world is full of idiots. If you are really a German then try to be a little less stupid than all others.
