Zone1 Should false religions be banned?

judaism is a religion of lies ... and forgeries.

there were never tablets etched in the heavens as claimed by moses - used to deceive the innocent to worship the liar and their phony commandments - that never existed.

Translation -- "I wasn't there to see it so it never happened. In other words, :lalala: ".

Run along. I don’t argue with morons.

no one cares about you ...

why repeat your lies, liar - your religion is based on deception and deserves to be prohibited the same as your phony rhetoric.

Translation -- "I wasn't there to see it so it never happened. In other words, :lalala: ".
God gave Moses the first set of stone tablets on Mount Sinai, and they were inscribed with the Ten Commandments, written by God himself.

you are deceitful ... is there a reason you left out the quote -

those tablets were never witnessed by anyone before the liar moses destroyed them and for no reason than they were forgeries and everyone at that scene knew it. what is written in all three desert bibles are unknown in origin - forgeries.

remove those deceptions and the missbelief there ever will be a messiah sent from heaven as claimed by judaism or have all three desert beliefs denied their recognition as religions and deemed works of fiction at best.

I keep explaining to you why it’s ridiculous for anyone to respond to your nonsense.
well, your less than wholesome return proved predictable, obvious you just can't stop your addiction. do stop by again.

your phony religion is anyone's guess for your desperate behavior. just find a different religion that is not forgeries lies and fallacies.

It can be argued that there can be only one true religion. So should all religions except that one true religion be banned? But God created mankind as free will agents to be able to choose, in and of themselves, what they want to believe. Without alternative options to choose from, there is no free will to choose but you would only be forced to accept the only remaining option. Maybe the purpose of this life is to have various options to choose from and while some options may be true and other options may be false, it gives us the chance to reason within ourselves why we would choose one over the other. Theoretically if one is able to use pure reason and logic there is a high chance that true options will be selected over false options. Having free will to choose allows one to choose his own destiny and to become what he/she in and of him/herself chooses to be. If a person chooses good rather that be forced to do good, that person becomes good in and of him/herself as opposed to being forced to be good. God is trying to raise individuals who choose good of their own free will and choice. If a person were forced to be good and then given his free will, would he choose to be good? A person who has already chosen good by having free choice already decided what he would choose and we know he is a good being. Free will choice is critical in allowing a person to truly be good in and of themselves. This is why God gives us free will. He wants us to be good beings in and of ourselves and learn to choose good of our own free will and choice.

I went to Confession and asked my priest how to deal with the anger that arises when people tell me I don't have the right to worship as I want to worship.

He said, "Pray for those people".

And I do, every day.

prohibit when deemed false ... especially when used to deceive.

your post could easily have used 80% fewer words to have the same response ... claims by religions must be verified for the religion to be authentic.

proving the heavens is not a matter of faith.

that is the problem with the desert religions and their prophesies and claims of heavenly personifications et al they nowhere come close to validations of facts instead claiming faith as being a substitute which in no uncertain terms is not a valid justification than simply their religions are no more than fictions using their own face value as the measure for the conclusions made.

could that possibly be - praying for yourself ...

That’s the kind of thing a religious nut job would say about a rival religion.

prohibit when deemed false ... especially when used to deceive.
But who gets to do the deeming and then prohibiting? Who gets to decide if there is deception?

And who gets to do the verification? One might verify it to be true while another might verify it to be false. We could put it on USMB and debate its truthfulness and let the individual decide for themselves if they believe it or not.
proving the heavens is not a matter of faith.
But if it is unprovable then it is only left as a matter of faith to each individual. Not all things are provable but some things are left as a matter of faith.

So what you are saying is that because religions do not have proof of fact that their claims are true but have to rely on faith then they should not be believed. That is hilarious coming from one who comes to this board and makes all kinds of claims without proof and expecting everyone else to believe what you claim. You never offer any proof of all your anti-"desert religion" claims and your anti-Moses claims. You need less accusation of others and more self introspection. Does a person who practices a sport hoping he/she will make the professional team have proof in advance that they will make the team? NO. They have to have FAITH that they can make it or they would never even try. Does a little child ever learn to walk or talk without having proof in advance that he or she can actually learn to do so. Of Course! They accomplish these things because they have faith and believe that they can do so. Faith accomplishes much more than you give it credit for. If you had to have proof before ever believing in anything, I seriously doubt you would get much done in life.

reading your post - only reiterates what is posted you were responding to in most part confirming what was already posted in explanation for the fallacies of the biblical religions.

... especially when used to deceive.

deception is verifiable - moses and their etched tablets / false commandments that were never witnessed by anyone present in all three desert bibles.

makes those bibles forgeries and false religions.

If one reads a religious source text, such as the Bible, in its entirety, one can see that many religious groups and adherents have based their beliefs off of a small part of it, but that it is often taken out of context or misinterpreted, while being ignorant of the whole, and therefore, in my view, false.

If we could compare the specific religious beliefs of individual adherents or groups, and show that they bear little resemblance to the entirety of the source text they claim to have originated from, I would consider them false religions.

It'd therefore be in favor of stripping them of their protected status under the law, if not outright banning them in some cases, in order to preserve true religion which is authentic to its source texts and prevent it from being corrupted.

As an example, the cult known as the Westboro Baptist Church is heretical to the Bible and the theology of John Calvin - ignoring most of it, particularly God and Christ's emphasis on love, and simply takes bits and pieces out of context to justify existence. Therefore, I'd be tempted to argue that they shouldn't qualify for religious protection under the law and that it should be legal for the state to ban them.
Who determines which religion is the false one, beyond the absolutely silly ones, like the "Flying Spaghetti Monster" religion created by some college student?
There is no similarity between various indigenous tribes' Animist religions and Abrahamic ones, yet to them their beliefs are just as real as any other religion.
Just because huge numbers of people follow the Abrahamic religions, doesn't make them true. After all, mere people wrote down their primitive beliefs into what they call their holy books, many centuries ago, back when superstition reigned across the planet.
I do believe however, that any religion that is inherently dangerous to those that don't have the same religious beliefs, is incompatible with western society and should be kept out of the west, even if it means a major war.

Carlin, a man with no answers making fun of folks who have faith. Cheap comedy. Projecting falsehoods on others beliefs and then making fun of them. Unfunny.
Larry can't even get a 4 letter name right yet he talks down to others who respect AMERICAN values.

i keep reading about the Westboro Baptist Church.
they seem not to be well liked.
why is that so?
They are 4 individuals. If you obsess over them, you have too much time on your hands.

And if you're gonna axe dumb questions, consult Google first

Who would be the judge? Would they have alternative motives to eliminate certain religions? Could you trust them? Many interpret scripture in various different ways. Who is to say which interpretation is correct? Sounds like a dangerous precedent to allow a group of fallible men to outlaw certain religions.
yes ... who decides which religion is false?
