Certain people should get the death penalty

1) cop killers
2) serial killers
3) those who kill in public

Should assassins? I guess that is covered in #3 which is something I never would have considered (either one) except that I am fed up with all the shootings. Don't get rid of guns.. Give guns to the good guys so we don't have to call 911 and wait God knows how long....

I still don't know where this idiot got the gun... haven't heard...

It looks to me like young men, esp the ones who are, or are associated with, trannies

should definitely not have them...

and yet it's a free country... supposedly. I wonder how we can really be free with public speakers always fearing the same fate.

“Vengence is mine, sayeth the Lord.” That means only God gets to kill people, right?

Thats one argument. So it’s unclear how a Christian can support the death penalty. Full disclosure, I’m not a Christian; I’m agnostic.

However politically, Utah has the death penalty I believe. If a State has it and doesn’t utilize it in this case...there is no need to have it in any case. I don’t care if he’s one day over 17...adult crime adult time or penalty in this case.

The practice of capital punishment is a wholesale failure by any measurement. But if we’re going to have it...this is the time to envoke it.

God doesn't kill people. Sin and people kill. Many religions observe the right of society to impose punishments up to and including death.

I see a few options myself.

Lethal Injection.
Hanging.
Electric Chair.
Firing Squad.

Expedite his trial like it was Donnie Pleading before the Supreme Court....

You mean Invoke, not Evoke

Anyhow, yeh, it's not at all a contradiction for Christians to accept the death penalty and call themselves pro-life. Babies are obviously innocent, murderers like this Tyler (whatever), as you say, should be completely removed from society.

I liked your answer until you brought the President into the conversation... happens a lot these days on the left..

Right. My bad. Sorry.

So what does it mean--“Vengence is mine sayeth the lord?”

Yeah, if you were clamoring for the death penalty when you thought it was a lefty who took out Kirky, then you should want it now that it's been revealed he's one of your own.

I say, off w/his head, death to the boy!

I'm fine letting the process play out. Whatever those in charge of that decision rule. Unless some liberal president uses an autopen to pardon him

Society cannot have people living in fear, people who want, as Charlie did, to make society better.

If we don't get rid of this guy (and in doing so, send a message to all), it will only be leftists who run for office or do public speaking.

Maybe that was the whole idea?

Notice how leftists rarely, if ever get shot at.

But people are getting totally fed up w/ all this violence from the left and I am certain this assassination will cause more people than ever to vote R.

As Kirk's widow said: "They don't know what they've done."

They never do... the dims never can see beyond their own little petty desire to be in power...

He is NOT one of us at all.

He was queer and living with a trans. (Yes, there are a few gays who are Rs, but it's rare)

Get out of here w/ that lie.

His family is R. He was not.

I don't really care. The Supreme Court has moved fast for the Don. I only wish Utah could do the same.

Utah, thank God, is calling for the death penalty.

There are certain crimes that should automatically call for it and this is one. It was public and it was an assassination. I don't give a rip how old he is. I don't care if he is mental... that goes w/o saying anyway.

What difference does any of that make? It makes no difference to those who loved him. Charlie's not coming back.

Why the need to always mention Trump?

Something peculiar about that... I mean, if I dislike someone, I just stay away from the person, as far as possible, don't even think about him/her.

He's a born and bred rightwing Christian Republican from a deeply red, and Christian, state.

His father's a former sherrif and from the time he was born, he had a gun in his hand.

Textbook Republican.

Nice try bub.

It's not about liking them or not. I've never met them. I hear the Dirty Don can be quite charming in person. I dislike their favoritism to the Trumpybear. Particularly their accelerated time frames. How can one not think about what a President like him does and says. You'd have to live a sheltered life.

So when he gets strapped to the gurney the NRA, John Bircher's, and us Mormons and other rw groups will be the ones out protesting his execution?

I would not consider turning your post here over to an English teacher... Yikes.

I could be one of those since I know the English language well. I would give you a D on this, and that's if you catch me on a good day...
