Most European wars have ended with one side winning territory from the other without a significant and clear victory. I’m pro Ukrainian, but realistically, as long as Putin retains power, Ukraine isn’t getting any of that conquered territory back.

Only the lily-livered Putin/Trump supporters accept pre-WWII histories as what should be tolerated in the modern world. Putting up with Russia's bullsh#t just isn't worth it. It is long term dangerous, and will lead to more warfare with greater losses in the long-run.

We all know Biden never met with Putin to have talks about ending the war even though Biden and Putin spoke several times before Russia invaded Ukraine .. shouldn't Biden have at least sat down with Putin after the Russian invasion and talked about what it would take to cease hostilities ?

• High-level contacts between the two leaders reportedly stopped after the 2022 invasion.
• In February 2024, the Biden administration dismissed a call by Putin for negotiations to end the war in Ukraine. The administration stated that "Russians need to take the serious offer that we put forward on the table, or make a serious counter-offer to negotiate, but in good faith".

Biden is responsible for the war in the first place. After that all he did was throw money down a hole.

There is no use "sitting down" and talking to a dictator who incessantly breaks ceasefires by launching even more missiles at the other side. Look at what happened in Alaska. Putin literally made a fool out of Trump. And by allowing Putin on american soil and having US soldiers on their hands and knees putting down the red carpet for him, he's telling the world, look at me, I'm wanted by the Hague and I'm public #1 in Europe, America's greatest ally, but I can still step foot in the United States and be treated like a king! I believe the Biden's strategy was to use the war to bleed Russia dry similar to Carter's strategy against the USSR when they invaded Afghanistan.

I favor Trump's approach as it is my preference that the U.S. should be an agent for peace, not an arms dealer.
