Should America welcome socialism? Germany did in 1933.

Failing businesses often are grateful when investors come to bail them out.

It's still socialism.
Haha. Not it’s not

Socialism is when the govt controls the means of production, 10 percent investing isn’t control. It’s an investment

Intel is very happy with the taxpayers getting a non-controlling share of that firm.
Intel had a debt laden balance sheet and was happy to have a white knight rescue the company from having to do a capital raise that would have been massively dilutive to earnings. It doesn't make trump taking advantage of their financial distress the right thing to do.

Capitalism called for Intel to succeed or fail on its own. Conservatives have a name for what trump did with Intel and it begins with "S."

The Nazis were Fascist who went to war with the socialist and communist in the streets of Germany. It was a phony economy and the Fascist Bastard brought Germany to ruin. If it wasn't for the Allied occupation of their sectors, all of Germany would have been rape and/or killed and would be speaking Russian to this day.
Yes leftwing tyrannical ideologies often go to war with rivals for control. Violence and oppression is he cornerstone of their beliefs

Biden gave them money as well. Trump converted some of that to common stock.

Yes, but the warning is we must fight illegal immigration. Thank God Trump is on the warpath.
Your embrace of the fascist playbook comes as no surprise. Many trumples have enthusiastically joined you.

How can Democrats call the Nazis fascists when for a fact the only fascist government seen to date had a king and premier. And the king fired the premier.

This world has had but one fascist government and it had a king plus a premier. And the king fired the premier to end Italy's role in WW2.

If you can't see the difference between the Biden admin broadly supporting the US chip industry with the CHIPS act, and the trump regime taking a partial ownership stake in a chip company, then you understand nothing.

You already made that specious claim. Redundance doesn't make it correct.

You already made that specious claim. Redundance doesn't make it correct.
And you make specious claims about Trump that are not at all accurate.

There has been one fascist government to date, and you don't understand fascism.

Kinda feels like you read that absurd claim somewhere and for some reason really liked the idea. Unfortunately, it's rubbish. Maybe you'd like to share the source so we can all learn what kinds of propaganda you're reading these days.

Today you said you were fine when Biden did that.

Trump broadly supported Intel.
As I said, you understand nothing.

If socialism is government owning the means of production, wouldn’t the government owning part of Intel be a step toward socialism?

I already brought the forum up on date on what fascism actually was. It's gone now. But you think it is here. And no evidence at all.

Not the same thing. As you would know if you understood the difference between stock ownership and generally supporting the industry, including companies other than Intel, as a national security initiative.

I should have known you were using the least authoritative source possible. You should read Ruth Ben-Ghiat's book, "Strongmen."

Or any of the better works on fascism.

If socialism is government owning the means of production, wouldn’t the government owning part of Intel be a step toward socialism?
I will be happy to help you. First Biden had shoved money into Intel which was risky.
Trump converted the Biden loans to common stock. Biden had taken ownership earlier. And you call that socialism.

I should have known you were using the least authoritative source possible.
Why are you sloppily tossing fascism around when you don't understand it at all?

The Fascist King: Victor Emmanuel III of Italy

To show disapproval of the king's decision, the prime minister and his government resigned. Claiming he was trying to prevent a civil war, Victor Emmanuel appointed Benito Mussolini as prime minister. The king met Mussolini during World War I and was also a reader of Mussolini's newspaper Il Popolo d'Italia.
