I see the attention of the LE community slowly turning to smashing the Alt/right extremists who advocate violence---this is the coming thing..all the signs are there--the new flavor of the month for LEA attention is White Nationalists who advocate violence:
The major problem with that is that there's not a clear distinction in verbiage between mere loudmouths and those who would act on the broad and deep undercurrent of White supremacy in the country, aided and abetted by those who would depict Whitey / Conservatives / Trump supporters as "victims" of all those not like them. That remains so right up to the time when some lone wolf loads his legally owned guns and his legally bought ammunition into his car, puts on the legally owned bullet-proof vest, and drives off to kill as many of his preferred targets as he possibly can.
Another major problem, of course, is would-be lone wolfs picking up the verbiage of "invasion", more than just hinting at shooting "invaders", as would right and just, emerging from the highest places in the country - the victim narrative, again, couldn't be more obvious.
It's almost a quarter of a century since McVeigh happened. It's almost two decades since Columbine happened. And now, all of a sudden, in the age of Trump, there will be movement to curtail what are the modern-day equivalent of the lynchings of old? Look around on here, and point out one - one - who earlier engaged in "demise of my nation", "invasion", "replacement" verbiage, and who has seen the light after El Paso. I have seen none. That's the lone wolfes' support group right there, it is substantial, and their voices and votes do count.
