Riley Gaines only had the top result in her first swim meet competing against women, when she had only been on testosterone blockers for a year. Those were the fastest times she ever posted.

The longer Gaines was on hormones, the slower her times. Eventually her NCAA ranking ended up being mid-60’s, of the top 100. She was actually ranked slightly higher as a male swimmer.

Few female athletes complain about trans women competing in their sports.
