Shaun King: People wouldn't be looting Target if George Floyd hadn't been murdered

Here's the problem I have with this reasoning:. Did Target kill George Floyd?
Do you have to get a free TV because a man was killed by a cop without reason?

People wouldn't be looting Target if they didn't see it as an opportunity for free stuff. Book stores are safe, I'm sure.

So far, no evidence of resisting arrest has been shown, and even if it were, the man was handcuffed and surrounded by four police officers. What has been shown is a video of a police officer with complete and total control of a situation, abuse his power and commit murder while other police officers looked on and did nothing, making them accessories.

The protesters that were actually peaceful during the day also had any message completely erased by the rioters that showed up in the evening. Lake street has several businesses burning this morning on local news.
Going to work a remodel only 20 blocks south of this and you would never know what was going on along Lake st. and Chicago ave.
Mpls, is not well served by the virtue signaling Mayor Frey or even his token black police chief.

And any heavy handed tactic employed in an attempt to do so would only swell the size of the mob. And this sense of invulnerability that you project in your post, and that many police suffer from would vanish like fog in the morning sun. And as a friendly reminder... Cops aren't the only ones who have guns. Just be grateful that for the most part the black community is more interested in stealing shit under the cover of this controversy, rather than seeking revenge.
