It’s been a big day for one of Hollywood’s more dubious contributions to society: A-list actors getting preachy about politics.
Sharon Stone and Alec Baldwin have both made comments implying that Americans who supported Donald Trump in the election earlier this month were “ignorant” and “uninformed”, among other less than flattering adjectives.

Ms Stone’s remarks came in the middle of a press conference at the Torino Film Festival in Turin, Italy. A reporter asked her whether she had anything to say about the International Day for the Eliminiation of Violence Against Women.

Comment:
Stone is arrogant and wrong.
Trump was the better choice over Kamala Harris.
Trump has the proven track record.
Trump has the better policy ideas.
Trump is a better leader.

Honestly I have no clue who that is. I really enjoy seeing people use things like "ignorant" and "uninformed" in place of the word "stupid" because they think it makes them sound smarter. Of course, in this day and age, I'd argue that we have a choice between being uninformed and misinformed. I think Denzel Washington said something to that effect.

Right. How informed is she? Whatever her circle of Hollywood friends tells her she accepts as fact. A bloody fool.

What did you expect ?
Both have shown lots of public form over the recent past.
So their whining is entirely predictable .

However, I suspect neither appreciate that the days when Hollywood stars were big Sheeple influencers have gone .

Little evidence that even the likes of tranny Taylor Swift had a noticeable effect this time .
So what chance that over- the- hill names like Stone and Baldwin would ?

Shows you how pathetic Lahotpa's obsession was of telling us how many so called celebs supported Squawker.
What a complete and utter waste of time . Sad.

She's one of Harvey Weinstein's slags.

Probably on the Diddy list, too.

41% of Americans think humans and dinosaurs co-existed.

She probably has a point.

We're supposed to take seriously the political opinions of someone whose claim to fame is an ability to pretend to be different people in front of a camera. Yeah, right.

Most citizens of most countries really don't get it.

I read that this morning. I almost thought about posting a thread asking the left if we should do something to stop the "uneducated" from voting. It would have been interesting to see how many lefties would be in favor of that while saying for years that every vote should count and that we shouldn't suppress anyone's vote and some even want to force people to vote who don't want to. Maybe now they think we should suppress the votes of the uneducated.
