Shameless

The first and second seasons of Shameless were well crafted, supremely funny, and I looked forward to every episode. But it appears the writers have undergone loss of continuity and are groping for situations, none of which are working.

I'm sad to say it looks like Shameless has run out of gas. The new plots are empty, simply stupid, and there's nothing funny about any of it.

I think this season has finally breathed some new life into it. I love that show. Sadly, I don't think redemption is in the works for any of the characters. And I don't know that that's necessarily a bad thing.
