Seriously, Are Any Dems/Libs Here Embarrassed that Most Dems Would Not Stand to Honor the 13-year-old Boy Battling Cancer During the SOTU?

As far as the kid, I am glad he is recovering. I hope he gets to grow up so he can't be a government employee because they are parasites on the taxpayers.

My 13 yo nephew just had a limb amputated due to osteosarcoma. I don't give a crap who funded or didn't fund "cancer research", you stand up to applaud a kid with cancer.

You people are ghouls for real
Absolutely. That kid wasn't a Democrat or Republican. He was just a 13-yr-old kid representing all kids battling potentially fatal diseases. The Democrats' behavior was mean spirited, selfish, reprehensible. You don't disrespect a kid like that no matter who is giving the speech acknowledging him.

Senator Fetterman called out his party for that, but one thing I can't find anywhere. Did Senator Fetterman stand for the kid?

Let the party of filth free shit and foreigners implode…We need to stop pointing out all their fuck-ups…Let them self-destruct and then we’ll gas them.

Why is he the only child being awarded or recognized?

Childhood cancer happens everywhere. In 2024, an estimated 15,000 children were diagnosed with cancer in the United States. Globally, it is estimated that 400,000+ new cases of cancer affect children each year; however, this number may be vastly underestimated due to large numbers of undiagnosed cases.

Something you likely did not know: When he first got cancer he told his dad that he wanted to be a police officer and his dad began a mission to see many offices that would help him during his grueling cancer treatments. They would visit many places and they would give him a recommendation or accomendations and this helped the little boy very much. Through the years he collected badges and uniforms. I think the father contacted the White House and they invited the boy and to make him an honorary secret service agent. Imagine this was your little boy. You want him to have a full life but his life is limited by his cancer. What would you do if this was your little boy?

Who thinks if Democrats suddenly changed the change would be genuine? In a sneak peek at Dems plans for 2026 Seattle Mayor ran as a moderate Democrat. After he was elected...he morphed right back into the degenerate far left Dem he always was. Jumping head first into protecting trans MEN in women's sports. Who is surprised?

I mean, really, how blindly partisan and unfeeling do you have to be to refuse to join Trump in honoring D. J. Daniel, the 13-year-old boy who is battling cancer

It merely proves that the democrat's protestations were nothing more than a blanket objection to Trump without any intelligence behind it.

are you ashamed of trump and the gop for cutting funding to cancer research?
if not sit down and shut the fuck up
Are you sure they didn't cut research into funding of artificial intelligence? At least that would explain you. The government has poured billions upon billions into research for decades without any results. A few weeks or months of redirecting the money into something with immediate benefit won't hurt anyone, niblik.

Funding for a childhood cancer research program was cut from a new bill to temporarily fund the federal government.
On Thursday, House Republicans unveiled the scaled-down spending bill, just one day before the December 20 deadline to pass legislation to avoid a government shutdown.

Why It Matters

The Gabriella Miller Kids First Pediatric Research Program was established in 2014 in honor of Miller, a 10-year-old girl who died from cancer in 2013. A 10-year-fund in her honor was created in 2014, according to a statement by Representative Jennifer Wexton and Senator Tim Kaine, both Virginia Democrats, which means the funding ran out last year anyway. :auiqs.jpg:
