If you were at the speech and they were honoring a little boy who had multiple surgeries with cancer, would you applaud the little boy for being courageous? Democrats reacted the way they did in protest of the tacky way Trump used this poor little boy as a prop knowing full well that he had absolutely nothing to do with this kid's cancer survival and in fact had just cut funding for cancer research and jeapordized the availability of the very treatments, procedutes, and medications this child is going to need in the future to survive.
It was a sadistic joke.
