Sen Sen John Cornyn is losing the runoff for Repub nomination

Spending money on elections doesn't matter. Kamala outspent Trump by about $1.5 billion and still lost. Money talks, but bullshit walks in everything but politics, and that is not going to work for Dems.
More money does not always win, but it does matter

In this instance I worry about the holier than thou anti MAGA RINOs who might stay home and let the democrat win

Cornyn is a borderline RINO but he has the best chance to beat the closet homo/New Age “Christian” democrat
The reason Paxton might not win is because there are too many intolerant republicans that will not vote for him because he’s too conservative

I think Paxton is going to win.
The day that conservatives start voting for non-conservatives because they think they have a better chance of winning, the GOP is over.

As it is, neither party is a true American party:
  • The Democrat Party is not even an American party with 98% of them siding against America and not even considering Americans to be their first true responsibility.
  • Of the GOP, it barely qualifies as conservative. 1/4 of the party are really just democrats (RINOS) who only ran as republicans because all of the DNC seats were already taken, or to water down the GOP with democrat votes. Half the republicans like all democrats are just on the take with whatever lobby group (foreign or domestic) is willing to bribe them the most. That leaves about 1/4 of one party actually out there trying to follow the law, stick to the rules, and actually fighting for Americans.
I believe Paxton fits into that latter category.

Not in Texas. The Democrats is a non-starter for independents and conservatives. He is Kamala Lite, without the word salad.

The die is cast

So I guess we’ll see

I voted for Cornyn

Not because he’s my favorite repub

He’s not

Cornyn is a borderline RINO but he has the best chance to beat the closet homo/New Age “Christian” democrat

But I will vote for the winner no matter which it is - Paxton or Cornyn

The reason Paxton might not win is because there are too many intolerant republicans that will not vote for him because he’s too conservative

They are the moderates for whom its their way or the highway and that drives me insane

Not looking good for this Rino asshole.

Unless you are a Texan, your opinion is irrelevant.
Bull pucky. My opinion matters just as much, if not more than yours, because you are a violent Marxist.

So they would rather see Talarico as their senator than Paxton? What, do they think they're both equally bad? They aren't. Talarico is a liberal lunatic.

I also see that Texas has "sore loser" laws that explicitly state that someone who was a candidate in a party primary for a given office is ineligible to become a declared write-in candidate for that same office in the following general election.

So Cornyn can't split the R vote in November, assuming he loses the runoff. Texas MAGAs are gonna need to suck it up and pull the level for Paxton.

Old school repubs will not admit that publicly but that's where they are

I think it means things are looking up for the homo democrat Talarico

He has a real shot at turning the seat blue thanks to moderate republicans

Let's hope not, but the Rinos in the Senate have to go. They are blocking Trump's agenda, recess appointments, and the Save Act- voter ID.

How so? Which Republicans have said they would vote against the SAVE act?

"Four Republican senators voted against an amendment sponsored by Sen. John Kennedy (R-La.) to instruct the Senate Rules Committee to find a way to add the core elements of the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE America) Act to a budget reconciliation package that could pass next month with a simple-majority vote.

Sens. Susan Collins (R-Maine), Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska), Thom Tillis (R-N.C.) and Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) voted against Kennedy’s proposed instruction to the Senate Rules Committee to craft a bill that would ensure only American citizens vote in federal elections, require all voters to show proof of identity, and to require all ballots be counted within 36 hours of Election Day."

That doesn't mean they did not support the bill. That means they did want it combined in the budget package as that would give Democrats another talking point to try and prevent that bill from getting support with the people.

Paxton was impeached by his own party.

Holding these fake 'impeachments' is just another banana republic gimmick these days that nobody takes seriously any more, thanks to Democrats' abuse and lawfare scams. In fact it has become proof of the effectiveness of a politician that he enrages al lot of vermin to such an extent they impeach him.
