Democratic Sen. Raphael Warnock is pushing back on Republican outcry after President Joe Biden declared 'transgender day of visibility' on Sunday, which this year is also Easter Sunday.

Warnock, who is a reverend, slammed the criticism, claiming Republicans are trying to 'divide' the country and saying House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) 'thinks trans people are abhorrent.'

'This is the opposite of the Christian faith,' Sen. Warnock (D-Ga.) told CNN State of the Union host Dana Bash on Sunday.

Many Republican and Trump-aligned voices joined Speaker Johnson in outcry over Biden's statement, claiming he was taking religion out of the day despite the president being a devout Catholic.

Comment:
It is obvious that the Radical Left Democrat Party values transgender men over Christians....women....children...
Mike Johnson is not the divisive one, it's Joe Biden and the Dems who are dividing Americans by race, religion and gender.
Warnock should stick to preaching sermons about "whiteness".

Citizens of a certain faith will decide if this is offensive or not. He cannot simply blame a party.

It was poorly thought out though, especially for a devout Catholic.

So republicans get accused of dividing America when Biden uses Easter to declare "transgender day"? WTF?
This direction has been going on for many years. Progs have diminished Christain holidays in that time. And if you see how we act, it worked and is still working.
