Don't ya' just love it when the villains get what they deserve, a dose of their own medicine?
I sure do.

1. Can you imagine....secularists squealing like stuck pigs when their own methods are used against them!
'...a consummation devoutly to be wished....'

First.....those methods....then that example.

2. Every Leftist is, essentially, a Marxist…even though most eschew the title since the fall of the Soviet Union. Even so, Left-wing ideas are predicated on Marx’s materialist view. Philosophically, the term implies that only material things are real. Therefore, emotions, such as love, are no more than chemistry. And it suggests that it is only genes and environment that determine our actions, and free will plays no role. And, of course, God and religious beliefs are nonsense.

That's why the hatred comes out whenever they see folks who are religious.

3. The change in America, from a spiritual to a materialist entity, is largely due to the efforts of the 32nd President. He promised all sorts of material rewards, if America would only give up the individualism, and freedoms that the Founders embodied in the Constitution.
He promised rewards such as

· Employment(right to work)

· Food, clothing and leisure, viaenough income to support them

· Farmers' rights to a fair income

· Freedom fromunfair competitionandmonopolies

· Housing

· Medical care

· Social security
FDR’s Second Bill of Rights
Kind of a 'worker's paradise,' huh?
I wonder where he got that idea.

4. And for these material benefits, all Americans had to do was give up our birthright...Individuals who have had the benefit of an education recognize this.

"The excesses of the European versions of fascism were mitigated by the specific history and culture of America, Jeffersonian individualism, heterogeneity of the population, but the central theme is still an all-encompassing state that centralizes power to perfect human nature by controlling every aspect of life., albeit at the loss of what had hitherfore been accepted as ‘inalienable human rights.’"
Goldberg, "Liberal Fascism."

5. While America was founded on this view:

"Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other."
John Adams

...it has become inculcated with this one:

" Secularism is the principle of the separation of government institutions and persons mandated to represent the state from religious institutions and religious dignitaries. One manifestation of secularism is asserting the right to be free from religious rule and teachings, or, in a state declared to be neutral on matters of belief, from the imposition by government of religion or religious practices upon its people. Another manifestation of secularism is the view that public activities and decisions, especially political ones, should be uninfluenced by religious beliefs and/or practices."
Secularism - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

....the very antithesis of 'a moral and religious people.'
The Founders wouldn't be welcome in a secular nation, would they.

He promised rewards such as

Oh, Mail Order Bride from Hell, I don't think you would be happy in 1787 America, where only white property owning males were considered people worthy of the vote.

But let's pick a few more things from "Mail Order College Thesis of the Day"....

....the very antithesis of 'a moral and religious people.'
The Founders wouldn't be welcome in a secular nation, would they.

The Founders believed in Freedom, all right. Unless you were poor Sally Hemings getting her 15 year old Cherry popped by Thomas Jefferson because she had the bad luck to be his dead-wife's half sister AND his property.

Now to put htis in the proper perspective... Yes, the Founding Slave Rapists did believe there was a magic man in the sky who created the world. A lot of them were Deists and not Christians, but they still believed in a magic man in the sky.

And they still thought Witchcraft was a real thing.

Historical Witches and Witchtrials in North America

And they thought Bleeding was a valid medical treatment.

http://www.tehistory.org/hqda/pdf/v41/Volume41_N3_100.pdf

And they thought Slavery was perfectly okay because the bible said so.

Today, we know that there are no witches, that bleeding someone is a bad idea, and that people owning other people as property is wrong.

But we are supposed to go to these guys as be all and end alls on how to run a modern society because they are some kind of deified paragons of virtue?

I think not.

From a nation designed for 'a moral and religious people' to one designed for a materialist lot......what happened?

In "Uncle Sam's Plantation: How Big Government Enslaves America's Poor and What We Can Do About It," Star Parker explains what happened to America...

6. There is the passage from Genesis 25:29-34, which accurately describes the cultural shifts that took place during the Great Depression. Read this, and replace "Jacob" with "Uncle Sam," "Esau," with "the People," and "birthright," with "freedom."

29 Once when Jacob was cooking some stew,Esau came in from the open country,famished.30 He said to Jacob, “Quick, let me have some of that red stew!I’m famished!”

31 Jacob replied, “First sell me your birthright.”

32 “Look, I am about to die,” Esau said. “What good is the birthright to me?”

33 But Jacob said, “Swearto me first.” So he swore an oath to him, selling his birthrightto Jacob.

34 Then Jacob gave Esau some bread and some lentil stew.He ate and drank, and then got up and left.

So Esau despised his birthright.

7. So, as a result, corrosive indolence warped a once healthy work ethic, and a new cultural ideal took hold in society. Once the needy got a taste of government handouts, the genie was out of the bottle.
Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness became the expectation of government obligation to provide happiness to everyone. Dependence begat a lower echelon of faithful voter. Politicians advanced the idea that the alleviation of poverty was the sole responsibility of politicians.

What Tocqueville had predicted came to pass.

From a nation designed for 'a moral and religious people' to one designed for a materialist lot......what happened?

Industrialization and the need to sell products manufactured for profit..

It takes soooooo little to bring the America-haters out from under their rocks, with this sort of slander:

"The Founders believed in Freedom, all right. Unless you were poor Sally Hemings getting her 15 year old Cherry popped by Thomas Jefferson because she had the bad luck to be his dead-wife's half sister AND his property."

There is no proof of this lie, yet it is regularly spread by Liberals, Progressives, Democrats, who use attacks on the Founders as a proxy for their hatred of America.

As this poster, Erroneous Joe, has voluminous hatred of America....but no knowledge in the areas of either history nor of science, his posts must be seen in that light.

Further:

1. "Since Thomas Jefferson himself had no known legitimate male descendants (his wife Martha bore six children between 1772 and her death in 1782, but only two daughters lived to adulthood), a direct comparison between his and Sally Hemings' offspring could not be made. Dr. Eugene Foster, a retired UVA pathologist, therefore analyzed DNA from other male members of the Jefferson clan and compared them with samples from Sally Heming's male descendants to see if a Jefferson fathered them.

2. DNA tests performed on 1 Eston line came up positive, but tests performed originally on 5 Woodson lines in November 1998 came up negative, as did a recent DNA test on a 6th line performed in March 2000. These results should demonstrate beyond any reasonable doubt that Thomas Jefferson was not the father of Tom Woodson. The Woodson DNA tests are important because if Tom Woodson is Sally Heming's Paris-conceived son and could be shown to have Jefferson DNA, it would then be almost certain that Thomas Jefferson was his father, since Thomas was the only Jefferson in Paris at the time who could have impregnated Sally."

This has to be the most truly retarded thing you've said yet.

Hey, reality check- MOST people on government assistance are only on it for a short time. A lot of people on government assistance HAVE jobs. Just not jobs that pay well enough because the wealth is not evenly distributed. It's why the Walton Family has more money than the bottom 40% of the population, which includes most of their employees.

The thing is, the healthy work ethic you talk about was corrupted when Reagan busted the unions and people couldn't expect a fair wage for fair work, even if they were better educated than their parents.

They will complain about govt. assistance but never the cost of living to keep people in their palaces..

Quite simple to prove the error of this simpleton's post.

The service that is an inherent part of capitalism is more in accord with Judeo-Christian values than is socialism/Liberalism.
Profit is what allows one to take care of one's fellow man.
After all.....Liberalism is all about distributing other people's money, not creating wealth.

"Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other."
John Adams

Alas, it was the tireless efforts of Franklin Delano Roosevelt that moved America into the very same camp as Joseph Stalin's Soviet Materialist regime.
That would be the Stalinist Soviet ideology that resulted in the slaughter of over 100 million human beings.

"We must rid ourselves once and for all of the Quaker-Papist babble about the sanctity of human life." Leon Trotsky

Yes, those progressive liberals... like the ones who run the Jefferson Museum at Monticello..

Sally Hemings | Thomas Jefferson's Monticello

Sally Hemings had at least six children, who are now believed to have been fathered by Thomas Jefferson many years after the death of his wife. According to Jefferson's records, four survived to adulthood. Beverly (b. 1798), a carpenter and fiddler, was allowed to leave the plantation in late 1821 or early 1822 and, according to his brother, passed into white society in Washington, D.C. Harriet (b. 1801), a spinner in Jefferson'stextile shop, also left Monticello in 1821 or 1822, probably with her brother, and passed for white. Madison Hemings(1805-1878), a carpenter and joiner, was given his freedom in Jefferson's will; he resettled in southern Ohio in 1836, where he worked at his trade and had a farm. Eston Hemings (1808-ca. 1856), also a carpenter, moved to Chillicothe, Ohio, in the 1830s. There he was a well-known professional musician before moving about 1852 to Wisconsin, where he changed his surname to Jefferson along with his racial identity. Both Madison and Eston Hemings made known their belief that they were sons of Thomas Jefferson.

But they are probably all a bunch of America haters, those people who work at Monticello.

I think you don't understand the concept of reasonable doubt. You are talking about genetic lines that have gone though generations of additional people.

The only way DNA would do this is if you dug up Jefferson and Woodson and compared THEIR DNA. Not remote descendants of both lines.

Anyway, duly noted you couldn't respond to the points about Witchcraft trials, Bleeding and Slavery all being considered "virtues" by the Founding Slave Rapists.

The problem is you equate morals and religion as inclusive. I've know a lot of religious people who would fuck you over in a heartbeat and justify it with their Imaginary Friend in the Sky.

I know a lot of atheists who would go to the wall for their friends and even complete strangers.

Anyway, this Atheist has to run, I have an appointment helping out a working dad who needs to find a better job.

Bulletin: there is no such thing as a perennial wealthy class....the vaunted "1%."
That is one of the myths that you believe and on which Liberal victimology is built.

1. New figures from Smart Money show that only 3% of millionaires inherited their wealth. That means 97% earned their vast fortune themselves. Smart Money also reports that 80% of millionaires are extra thrifty shoppers. Many of them even clip coupons! "

I get it!

You appreciate the education that I provide so very much that you wish further instruction....this time, in the area of jurisprudence......

Well.....OK...

1. Progressives have altered the role of the Supreme Court in a dramatic way: no longer should its role be to apply law as written. Instead, it was the application of German social science to American law.

... law must leave "conceptions" and open itself up to social realities of the modern world.”…[endng]the backwardness of law in meeting social ends,…”http://www.drbilllong.com/Jurisprudence/Pound.html

2. [Roscoe Pound] was perhaps the chief U.S. advocate of sociological jurisprudence, which holds that statutes and court decisions are affected by social conditions; his ideas apparently influenced the New Deal programs of Pres. Franklin D. Roosevelt. Answers - The Most Trusted Place for Answering Life's Questions

3. Instead of following the Constitution, 'social justice' is to be pursued from the bench by following the dictates of unelected judges.....caselaw.

"Christopher Columbus Langdell ....Before Langdell's tenure, the study of law was a technical pursuit. Students were told what the law is. However, at Harvard Langdell applied the principles of pragmatism to the study of law. Now, as a result of this innovation, lawyers are taught the law through a dialectical process of inference called the case method. The case method has been the primary method of pedagogy at American law schools ever since. The case method has since been adopted and improved upon by schools in other disciplines, such as business, public policy, and education. Students such as Oliver Wendell Holmes, Jr. would ensure that Langdell's innovation would not go unnoticed. Christopher Columbus Langdell - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

There is no excuse for this corruption of jurisprudence except for a hatred of America.

I certainly hope you learn from this instruction!

And,.....yes....you are welcome.
