Joe Biden handed thousands of Americans over to the Taliban as hostages.

"Several thousand" hits a little differently than the "about 100 Americans" number they've been repeating endlessly for two weeks, doesn't it? The administration had been squirrelly about this number, excluding the tally from the number of 'Americans' they were willing to admit had been stranded in Afghanistan. The New York Times reported that the number could be in the thousands, and now the Secretary of State has finally admitted it.

This would have happened if Donald Dump was POTUS.

Trump negotiated directly with the Taliban in Doha, Qatar in 2018 that excluded the Afghanistan Government.
Trump gave the Taliban everything it wanted

  • Taliban Legitimacy
  • Afghan Government irrelevancy
  • 5,000 Hardened Taliban Prisoners released, including the Taliban Leader
  • US and all NATO forces withdrawal with a deadline
  • A Taliban controlled Afghanistan guarantee
And then the Trump Administration prepared NO plan to safely evacuate or background check 10's of thousands of Americans, and 100's of thousands of US friendly Afghan's

Lie, this shows you never read Rumps agreement.

A former aide to former Vice President Mike Pence blamed racist views of a top Trump administration official for the inability of many translators and other allies to get out of Afghanistan before the U.S. withdrew troops.

Olivia Troye tweeted that Stephen Miller, a senior adviser to former President Donald Trump, teamed up with “enablers” to undermine anyone trying to get the allies out by “devastating” the special immigrant visa system at the departments of State and Homeland Security.

“Stephen Miller would peddle his racist hysteria about Iraq & Afghanistan,” tweeted Troye. She described Pence as “fully aware” of the problem.

Neither did Trump. Why else would he reduce the troop level so low just before he left office if he didn't think the Taliban had met their obligation under the his Surrender Agreement.

He wouldn't try to hamstring the new Biden Administration with an impossible situation in Afghanistan. Trumpyberra and the Neo-GOP would never try to harm America like that huh?

But it didn't. It happened under Biden. Biden had complete control and he could easily have postponed the extraction date at any time, but he has always wanted out of Afghanistan.
Biden also lied, telling us that there was no way in the forseeable future Afghanistan was going to fall, all while he knew for months that the Afghan army was crumbling. We all know about his 'perfect' phone call with the Afghan president.

Whoever was president, once it became clear that Americans were going to be trapped on the ground, plans needed to change. That trumps (pardon the pun) any previous negotiations because Americans behind enemy lines was not part of the deal.
Biden had a chance and failed at leadership.

We still had bases intact. Biden could have added troops whenever he wanted. I have a feeling though, if he had he would have gotten a lot of pushback from Democrats.

Hold everyone accountable then if thats the case. Republicans who voted the wrong way should have to face that, however, Biden still had plenty of time to fix whatever he needed to. Last time I checked he was elected into a 4 year term. How long has he been in office now?

Biden moved the deadline from May to August as soon as he got into office, so there goes your lie.

Proving once again, what you don't know, you just make up.

April 14 — Saying it is “time to end the forever war,” Biden announces that all troops will be removed from Afghanistan by Sept. 11.

Ah yes, my bad. You're right, Biden moved the deadline from May to September, but the Taliban told him to go fuck himself and get everyone out by August 31st (which he also failed to do).

That doesn't change the fact that you lied about Biden not being able to do anything about Trump's deal.

Afghan Army could not be fixed. With Trumps withdrawal agreement we agreed to withdraw all of the support contractors who maintained the US made equipment for the Afghan Army. They knew there goose was cooked. It's no wonder they negotiated their surrender of all their weapons. Without the 300,000 Afghan troops the 2,500 American troops left in Afghanistan when Trump left office, were not enough to defend the airport much less the entire city of Kabul.
