Secret Service honchos denied Trump additional security for

2 years before assassination attempt:

damning revelation

20 Jul 2024 ~~ By Katherine Donlevy & Joe Marino

Secret Service officials repeatedly rejected Donald Trump’s request for additional security in the two years before last weekend’s assassination attempt, The Post has learned.
The ex-president, 78, asked for more agents and magnetometers at large public events he attended, as well as extra snipers for outdoor venues, four insiders told The Washington Post, which first reported the damning revelation.
Each request was shot down by senior officials who claimed the agency lacked the resources Trump was asking for, the outlet reported.
Secret Service agents, alone with local law enforcement, were responsible for securing the rally when 20-year-old gunman Matthew Thomas Crooks opened fire at the Republican presidential nominee’s campaign outdoor rally in Pennsylvania last Saturday.

Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle, who has faced mounting pressure to resign in the last week, doubled down on the denials in a meeting with Trump campaign leadership in Wisconsin on Monday, the insiders said.
After massive holes in the ex-president’s security team were revealed, however, the agency has changed its tune.

Trump’s personal detail asked Secret Service headquarters for resources –manpower, equipment, tech — headquarters approves or denies at their discretion.
Only when denied would the detail inquire with the field office, which would backfill with any available resources, including local law enforcement.
The Secret Service has been strongly criticized for failing to stop Crooks before he fired on the ex-president.
Trump has continued on the campaign trail despite the terrifying experience, this time with beefed-up security at his disposal.
He was given a ā€œpretty unprecedented level of police officersā€ Saturday for his indoor event in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where the presidential hopeful and his new running mate, Ohio Sen. JD Vance, were welcomed by roughly 14,000 adoring supporters.

Commentary:
Smells like something the handlers in the Whire House world do.
As an example the Lawfare actions against Trump that have bben shut down by SCOTUS.
The question I continue asking about the shooting is; was the Democrat neo-Marxist administration (in some way in on it, or were they hoping for a crime of opportunity? The more facts that come out imply that this was an orchestrated event. If the shooter wasn't in on it with them, then they certainly made sure he had every opportunity. The quantity and seriousness of "mistakes" by highly professional people is not believable. At the very least, I think they were fully aware of the shooter and were impeding all protective actions they could in order to assist him in not being stopped. They turned a blind eye and let the bullets fly. At worst, they planned it with him. They had the perfect opportunity. There's no way the shooter was going to be alive after he fired.
Based upon the above hypothesis there was a conspiracy and the FBI, DHS and Secret Service were part and parcel involved on this.
Particularly chilling given the announcement that an USSS counter-sniper was able to kill the would-be assassin with a ā€œone in a millionā€single shot to the head. Dead Men Tell no Tales.
Was it really as miraculous a shot as the gov't made it out to be? Or was one of Secret Service’s top notch snipers brought in that day and stationed in a prime location so he’d be ready and waiting to forever silence Crooks once he’d shot Trump?

Mara Lago is impossible to secure. It's wide open and full of vendors contractor, cooks, waitstaff, landscapers, maids, housekeepers, guests and visitors.

Mara Lago is impossible to secure. Trump is using more than his share of security.

Former presidents don't have snipers in their security detail.

At this point, people have to admit that the well being of Trump was not important to Biden's deep state. I'm sure that the failed assassination was even lamented by many of those assholes.

What Soviet trials are you talking about? How many judges did Trump appoint?

Well, blame congress...

It took till yesterday for congress to bring a bill up to give and fund the secret service for the extra protection for presidential candidates.

Trump's security team requested snipers which is unheard of.

Was Trump running for president in 2022 and 2023?
