Each request was shot down by senior officials who claimed the agency lacked the resources Trump was asking for, the outlet reported.

The quantity and seriousness of "mistakes" by highly professional people is not believable. At the very least, I think they were fully aware of the shooter and were impeding all protective actions they could in order to assist him in not being stopped. They turned a blind eye and let the bullets fly. At worst, they planned it with him. They had the perfect opportunity. There's no way the shooter was going to be alive after he fired.
Based upon the above hypothesis there was a conspiracy and the FBI, DHS and Secret Service were part and parcel involved on this.
Particularly chilling given the announcement that an USSS counter-sniper was able to kill the would-be assassin with a “one in a million”single shot to the head. Dead Men Tell no Tales.
