You can't trust anybody BUT things happen. My sister is still married to a guy after many years she met from overseas online. That was back in the ICQ days or whatever it was. Online chat forums.

The most sensible policy is to just assume that everyone on an anonymous message board looks like this - it pretty much quashes any temptation to feel attraction.
