For an encore, they will probably drop all AP curriculum classes and mandate, for every high school graduate, at least two semester credits of advances sandbox and finger paint. They just want to keep it real, in Seattle. Real stupid, that is.

How would you feel if the schools dropped their program for kids who are intellectually "challenged"? What if they asserted a right to simply and permanently expel those with unresolved behavior issues (e.g., constantly getting into fights).

You would whine that the school district has an obligation to the community to accommodate these kids, even if it is expensive, disruptive, and ultimately pointless.

But the schools ALSO have an obligation to do well by their gifted students. If such students become bored with sitting in classrooms with dimwits who hog the teachers' attention, they will develop poor school and study habits that will follow them throughout their school years.

Public entities like schools should be prohibited from recognizing race or ethnicity in anything they do. Those who are academically suited should attend AP classes if they and their parents want that. Period.

(2) They did not want ethnicity X and ethnicity Y to think that their children are less intelligent than Caucasian and Asian children.

c. If two certain races are lagging in their school studies, it is due to systemic racism.
