SCOTUS to Hear Arguments for Trump's Plan to End Birthright Citizenship

I predict that SCOTUS will rule against Trump on this one. We have a timid court that fears criticism from the leftists.
 
I agree in principle, I just don't see the current court reaching that far.
It isn't that far. The original Ark decision was limited to legal permanent aliens, not illegals. It won't be retroactive. It will only deter future illegals from coming here to squirt out anchor babies.

Agree on the won't be retroactive part.

Then will come the lawsuits on the implementation date, if the SC decides to say Birthright citizenship is wrong constitutionally.

If they do overturn it, they will probably go with the "Congress hasn't said anything on it, but they can. We just don't find it in the Constitution, and thus it's up to congress"

They could. I just don't see it as being radical. It will affect no existing US citizen.
