That is unequal treatment under the law.

If a woman had a miscarriage because she engaged in some activity would or should she be charged with murder or child endangerment or negligence?
If a pregnant woman got in a car and drove recklessly caused a multi car accident and lost the baby due to her injuries would or should she be charged with murder?

I think the answers to these 2 questions would be a resounding no therefore no one should be charged with murder for causing a miscarriage

I'll say it again 1% or less of all abortions occur after 20 weeks and most of those are to save the life of the mother. And I think the life of the mother should always take precedence

Most abortions take place before 6 weeks and the vast majority take place before 20 weeks
