It may have been a flub; it may not have been a flub. I don't know. It's not the same as the 57 states gaffe. You'd have to be a borderline retard to not know there are 50 states in the U.S. Obviously, that was a gaffe. I bet, however, if you walk down the street and ask random people what the three branches of government are, most of them won't know.
As far as Schumer going to Harvard, that doesn't mean dick. He never had a real job in his life outside of politics and that's probably why all he's ever done is support economic policies, as well as others, that are bad for growth and infringe on the personal freedom of the people. He has absolutely no practical experience in the real world that qualifies him to make decisions that effect the entire world.
The bolded section, while mostly true, has NOTHING to do with this thread, or whether or not Schumer knows the branches of government.
Being a Harvard Law School graduate doesn't make you an amazing Senator, but it does kinda imply that you know what the branches of government are.
This is my problem - you're using your issues with Schumer (which are understandable) to let yourself be convinced that he's stupid (which is clearly not the case). Even in your post you veered off topic to attack him.
