The thing is, some Republicans could get caught up in a dragnet that is likely pretty large, which is why many of them don't want to push this. They know Biden is corrupt, but they have some skeletons in their closet as well. Trump was an outsider, so going after him was easy with no collateral damage to the crooks in DC.
