My Mother has a cousin who was an actress and worked in Berlin during the Weimar era. She was quite the wild one, and I am probably the only poster here who can find images all over the internet showing a female family member posing topless in the 1920s.

Berlin’s the place to be. But it’s four hours from here, with hi-speed train. You can be in Paris in that time. And I’m more drawn to that part of Europe.
