Rittenhouse was the best case of self defense possible. The Pretti shooting was not lawful. The Goode shooting was lawful.

I disagree regarding the Pretti shooting.
He had no business sticking his nose into a law enforcement action. With a gun in his waistband. Exhibiting the same anger he had a week earlier when he kicked out the tail light of an ICE vehicle.
It was justified.

The standard for use of deadly force is serious bodily injury or death must be imminent(going to happen right now). Pretti was disarmed and surrounded by 5 agents who had him restrained. So where is the imminent threat. It doesnt matter what he did the week before or even that he had gun. He didnt have it when shot. He should have been arrested.

I think, however, that it's possible that during the disarming, Pretti's Sig went off accidentally, which could have caused the agents to shoot him. Remember, we're talking split seconds and chaos here ...
