This was a dish from my youth. A sort of ****** or haggis.
Its mainly made from mince pork bits of offal.
Unlike black pudding its not widely
stocked and is a bit of a rarity.

Do you enjoy it in the colonies ?

No offense tommy, not sure about the "duck" but our medicine tastes better than haggis.

You would be shocked. Its a great delicacy.
When your national dish is squirrel you need to be more open minded.
"Rat" could be the national dish and would not make haggis more appealing...Its been said that most Scottish/UK cuisine is "based on a dare"
The Times of London writes that it was during a meeting of the G8 earlier in 2005 that Chirac was overheard saying to Russian President Vladimir Putin and German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder that “you can’t trust a people that cooks as badly as that.”

Never heard of it until now, but that sounds pretty close to what my gran used to make with leftover pork bits. Simple stuff, proper comfort food
