The Patriot (capital P) vision is a strong, free, prosperous America for all. That means a government that does only what cannot be done as effectively or efficiently in the private sector and otherwise leaving the power and resources with the people.

Freedom is the right to live our lives as we choose, how we choose, how we want our societies to be, short of infringing on the rights of others to do the same. At the same time we defend and protect the defenseless.

Patriots denounce/condemn/oppose/prosecute those who do violence to other people's rights, property, liberties, peace but otherwise allow but do not otherwise judge another's race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, choice of lifestyle, etc.

If you do not share that vision you indeed are not a Patriot and I will not refer you as one.
