And that is fine, but we are 50 years away from getting off oil. Per barrell would have to be 5-6 times higher for any alternative to be feasable.I don't ever pray (skeptic) but I am praying for $400 per barrel oil. All Texans will grt paid and the Texas Purpetual University Fund enowmwnt will get richer, which means A&M has more $$$ to spend and make my degree more valuable.

Not to mention we'd finally be inspired to do what we should have done fifty years ago, and pursue real energy independence.
Oil changed the world by leaps and bounds. It will take an equal change to get rid of oil, like perpetual motion or cold fusion (which are both scientifically impossible).
