These kids were happy working and providing for their families....Nowadays, we have kids who are too spoiled and don't know the value of work. If by 10 yrs old, you haven't had a single workplace accident, can you say you have really lived?

There were employees in cities in private and public unions who have done very little and this from other eras. The costs are astronomical to the taxpayer and consumer. Some of the unions are facing cutbacks in pensions and benefits. However old Joe has refilled their treasuries with printed fiat currency and of course the peasants with inflation are paying for it. You are correct about children though.
