Sanders Tweets 'How Many Yachts Do Billionaires Need? How Many Cars?

Sanders never had a real job in his whole adult life fool.

Anybody that has a government job doesn't have a real job?

Did I say "anybody"? No, ^^^ troll fail!

Quit attacking government workers.

The one's that need a union to protect them from themselves?

All American workers need a Union to protect them from capitalist racketeers and short minded people like you.

I owned a Union company. I had the best employees. The best trained employees. I did make about 2% less Net, but I still made a pile of cash.

You never owned a hotdog stand.

As somebody who actually does have experience with unions, one of the failures of unions was that they decided who to promote--not the company.

A company will advance good hard workers and leave the toilet scrubbers to scrub toilets. When you tell people they will have a job as long as they come to work and breathe, you are not going to get nearly the output of work as a non-union company where you have to actually work to keep your job.

It's not a question of how many yachts or cars can the wealthy own......but one of how long to we accept the excuse that they can't afford to pay higher taxes, higher wages, create more jobs given their conspicuous wealth

It's not a question of how many yachts or cars can the wealthy own......but one of how long to we accept the excuse that they can't afford to pay higher taxes, higher wages, create more jobs given their conspicuous wealth

Nobody said "they can't" pay higher taxes, it's just that the top 10% of wage earners in this country pay 70% of all collected income taxes as it is. Hell, the top 1% pay 40% of all collected income taxes.

The question is not their ability, but of equity.

Ummmm......that kind of reveals their revenue doesn't it?

The wealthy are paying historically low tax rates. We were sold a bill of goods that lowering their tax rates would lead to a surging economy, higher wages......prosperity for all
It never materialized. They just kept the money (yachts, cars...) Time to reconsider those rates

And if they do, do you think those rich people will willingly give up their money?

The one of many things you on the left don't get is that the rich never lose no matter what you do. Raise their taxes, they take more jobs overseas; increase the price of their goods or services; skip out on pay raises for their employees or set new policy on their healthcare insurance contribution.

Everything you think you are getting from the rich are actually paid for by us working people.

Yes the rich will always come out on top. But increased tax revenue from the rich can go for schools, healthcare, infrastructure, programs for the elderly

I have skills you can't buy..i don't sell out..

Then don't work for the majority of employers today. They expect you to 'sell-out.'

Bullshit! Union employees are graduated through training and performance with shift choice through longevity.

And as I've pointed out to you numerous times;

1% of 1,000,000.00 is more 1% of 10. It's not the amount of dollars paid, it's the percentage of total income/revenue vs tax paid. The top pay (in dollars) 3%, while the middle class pays (in dollars) 15%.

You'll never know how much you're going to pay. Like environmental regulations, the extra costs are intrinsic in every product or service you buy. Do you really think that if we raise taxes on the rich, they will pay more money to their employees? Do you think they will sell one of their yachts or not buy the new one they wanted? They will have to learn to do without?

It doesn't work that way. Taxes and regulations are paid by all of us. Sure, the up front money is paid by the wealthy, but they recoup that money from the little people. It just makes people like you feel good that somebody got even with those filthy rich people, but the filthy rich people are laughing at you.

We already know they won't raise wages if we cut their taxes
We do know they will use the money to buy more yachts

So why do we continue to cut their taxes?

Twitterers respond with how many houses do you need?
Once again, the lack of self awareness of the left is mind boggling.

Sanders Asks How Many Yachts Billionaires Need, Twitter Asks How Many Houses He Needs

Progressive Democrats have never really changed much in their level of hypocrisy
as it concerns the law

Who Pays Taxes in America in 2014? | CTJReports

WTF I only have one yacht down in Seward !!! I have like four other boats though; river boat, lake boat, fishing boat, and a motorized row boat for lake fishing. I do have uhm... 6 cars though. One of them is broked and one of them is a rebuild project that isn't running yet... wait, I forgot the trailblazer. 7 cars fuck yea!

'Merica!
Is the 'Welcome To Seward' sign still there on the dock?
I spent some time there 26 years ago. It was a nice place to land my 180 float plane then.

I honestly haven't been down there in years personally. Halibut fishing is a bit over my capacity heh Last time I went I almost ended up in the ocean, stupid thing pulled me across the deck of the boat and I lost a pole. I imagine it is though, stuff like that goes good with the tourists :D
Thanks for the info.
We used to put down in the area and fish from the plane.
We only kept 'chicken halibut' and rock cod about 1 1/2 pounds, the best eating fish in the Pacific IMO.

For one, we have nearly the highest corporate tax rate in the world and want to keep jobs here, but two, because the wealthy pay almost all the federal income taxes in this country.
