Begs the question, what are the specifics of your alternative to the "failing system"?
Maybe we would be debating specifics of alternatives if megacorps and financial service industries were not pouring buckets of money into elections. Even CNN's debates were a whitewash of problems facing this country. Shameful.
Wasn't asking for a public debate, I was asking for the specifics of YOUR alternatives to as you called it our current "
failing system".
MY alternative is Bernie Sanders over any other candidate.
That is neither specific nor any sort of an alternative proposal, all you're saying is that the alternative to the "failing system" is changing the head of the executive branch to a politician who has been a part of creating the "failing system" and whose claim to fame is making un-affordable and vague promises of "free" stuff (apparently Bernie and his supporters never heard of TANSTAAFL nor do they seem to understand that resources are
finite).
You might as well just be crossing your fingers and wishing on falling stars if the sum total of your "better system" rests in the hands of (yet another in a long line of) American politicians making campaign promises. I also think your license to criticize others for as you put it "fighting to stay in" the current system is extremely thin given that you don't have any specifics for a superior alternative.
