I have a Samsung A25 phone.
Sometimes it "dings", and I have NO idea why!!

I've checked ALL the settings, and there is nothing set to "ding".

When it does "ding", there are no messages to view, no error screens to see, no news flashes or anything!

I've looked online to see why it does this, but haven't found anything to explain it.

Does anybody else have a Samsung "smart phone"? And does it "ding" once in a while???

Throw it away. Clearly defective.

Z-4 does all sorts of crap like that. Maybe after updates?

Giant bright ads appear as I wake it up. Go thru one or two to get it onm

Some site called TEMU has taken over.

Gmail or Samsung demanding sign-in willy nilly. I only had GMAIL at work. They started going g 2-factor sign in. Since then stuff happens. Not there anymore. Phone wants sign in to GMAIL I no longer have. I made a new one it doesn't like that.

Free Poker game I played licks me out wanting Google sign in I never had to do ever. I restarted phone to get in sometimes.

Mine almost always on Silent yet still made noises? I dont know. Maybe.
Me no like being locked and whipped.

I don't own a Samsung and haven't since I had a Galaxy S5 International version many years ago. That was the last Android OS device I used. I ditched it and have used iPhone ever since. That's around the same time I ditched Windows and started using MAC OS for personal, non-work related computing. Though I had to keep Windows on my Getac for work related stuff.

I wouldn't touch anything built around Google on a mobile phone with a ten foot pole.

But...placing all of that aside, maybe turn off Google microphone permissions and see if that stops it.

I'll bet it does.

As an aside, if you have one of those hipster cases that holds debit/credit cards, that could be setting it off and alerting as well.
