Practically Russia will have neither diplomatic relations nor embassies with the West

Lavrov said that it makes no sense for Russia to maintain its previous diplomatic presence in the West

MOSCOW, Oct. 18. /TASS/. Maintaining the former diplomatic presence in Western countries makes no sense, Russian diplomats work there in conditions that can hardly be called human. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said this on Tuesday at a meeting with university graduates hired into the diplomatic service for the first time.
"There is no point and no desire to maintain the former presence in Western countries. Our people work in conditions that can hardly be called human. They face constant problems, threats of physical attacks. The main thing is that there is no work there ever since Europe decided to shut us out and stop any economic cooperation. You can't make nice by force," Lavrov said.
The Russian diplomatic chief recalled that the United States "actively prepared" and Europe "obediently accepted" the coup d'etat in Ukraine, which "took place under Nazi slogans." "This means one thing: the West sided with those who want to revive Nazism. We proceed from this even now. Every day we see numerous confirmations of such an assessment," Lavrov continued. - Under these conditions we will shift the "center of gravity" to the countries that are ready to cooperate with us on an equal and mutually beneficial basis and to search for promising joint projects.
The Minister stressed that now the Foreign Ministry conducts "geographical reorientation of activities both abroad and in the central office. "The countries of the so-called third world (in Asia, Africa, Latin America), on the contrary, need additional attention. Many plans are being agreed upon at the highest and high level that require diplomatic accompaniment, including in terms of business support, joint cultural, humanitarian and educational projects," he added.
Lavrov recalled that many Russian diplomats terminated their business trips abroad early because of the West's Russophobic policy. "The priority for us was the obligation to employ them as soon as possible. We managed to do this. We have been dealing with this problem since June. Now all issues have been resolved without prejudice to the hiring of the young people here," he stressed.
A critical era
The world is experiencing, without exaggeration, a watershed era, which will take a long time, the minister said.
"Our foreign policy concept requires a focus on ensuring safe, maximally favorable external conditions for Russia's economic development, improving the well-being of its citizens, and protecting compatriots and businesses abroad. We are experiencing, without exaggeration, a turning point, or rather an era - it will be a long period. Under such conditions it is important to defend not only the economic and social interests of the country and citizens, but also a sense of national pride, honor, and protection of historical heritage," he said.
Lavrov said that in modern conditions, in addition to professional training, the task of improving skills and expanding erudition, civic position is important. "Employees of the Russian Foreign Ministry have always been distinguished by patriotism and a sense of pride for the country. This is not a high word, but a statement of fact," added the head of the Russian diplomatic mission.
Security threats
For years Russia has been warning about the unacceptability of security threats on its borders, said the head of the Foreign Ministry.
"For years, the Russian Federation has been warning about the unacceptability of creating threats to our security, not 10,000 miles away, but right on our borders, for people who consider themselves Russians and want to remain part of the Russian world," he said.

Lavrov stressed that for years the Kiev regime has oppressed them, banning the Russian language, education, media, culture and more. "For eight long years they bombed Donbass, killed women, children. None of our Western colleagues bothered to say a word in defense of those oppressed by the authors and perpetrators of the unconstitutional coup d'état in Ukraine. Western journalists have never visited Donbass during these eight years - maybe there were one or two exceptions - and have only covered everything that happened with the implementation and non-implementation of the Minsk agreements exclusively from Kiev's perspective," he added.

Putin is going to go the way of Nicolas II if he keeps this up.

Putin is going to go the way of Nicolas II if he keeps this up.
That is how it seems for someone who has only read or seen the Western viewpoint. Putin has not been killed although people have been hoping their actions will make this happen for a long time. The Iranian people also did not decide to kill their rulers. The reason for that put forward was that they saw what happened to other countries, not least Syria when they did.

On people numbers most of the world is on Putin's side. The West has lost the confidence of the world particularly as they have seen the enormous racism there is in our morality. No problem with a black or brown person being killed or made homeless in the US's wars but the most enormous upset when white people find themselves refugees through or experiencing war. Putin is building up strength with his BRICS and their intention to move away from the US dollar as reserve. Other countries seem to be flocking towards them wanting to join Brics. They have brought out a paper on their intentions. They say that the world for the past decades has been ruled by one country and its minions (not their words but Europe!!) They say they have expected everyone to act just like them or they attack them to do regime change in the hope of making them just like them and how this is coming to an end. They then speak of the way they intend on the world to be where each country will have the ability to govern their country exactly as they see fit. I think now there is a heck of a lot extreme right including on our side. I get the feeling they are intending on leaving the US alone. This would go with Dugin's idea. He wanted Russia to take all of Europe except the UK and to leave the US (and the UK) alone in the world. Europe seems to have been dropped but they appear to be working towards that and there are very definitely takers. Putin is not on his own.

I hate stupid Putin and his war too, but Europa and USA will have huge troubles without cheap commodities from Russia
I give Germany 1 - 2 years, EU 2 -3 and USA not longer as 5 years
Only China benefits now, its exports will become more cheaper, the West will have no chance to compete with
Russia exports nothing that the free world can’t source elsewhere. Russia has become impossible for western businesses to do business with due to the rampant corruption in both the government and private sectors. Russia has cut its own economic throat by allowing the universal, rampant corruption to remain that flourished under communism.
