And changed it to:

In the hopes that people like percysunshine wouldn't bother to actually read the article.

It was the current day liberals and their parents who spat on and shouted obscenities at the returning Viet Nam veterans. It was the liberal cowards who flew to Canada and Sweden when they were called to duty.

It is the liberals who bitch about and pretending to be for the troops, when the troops today are volunteers, but they and their parents (questionable, because many of them are figurative and literal bastards) skipped the country or if they served inflicted wounds on themselves, as proved in the 2004 presidential campaign.

I just got home from visiting my mother in the Tuscon Az. area. Nice visit but I didn't enjoy the 104-106 degree days

Coming back the LONG way through the mountains and Indian reservations of New Mexico (BEAUTIFUL!) there isn't much to listen to but AM radio. I tuned into Rush and I gotta admit he WAS entertaining.

Like I've said I only read his transcripts online. It is a bit different hearing him stutter and stammer and repeat himself endlessly on air. I was struck by the pot calling the kettle black thing. He accuses the Obama administration of pandering to hatred and fear in some of their latest messages.....which is EXACTLY what he himself does incessantly!

Most shocking were the "commercials" which aren't really commercials at all sometimes but propaganda....pure and simple! Some of them are hilarious and obviously strictly satire....like a Mad Magazine spread....but it's STILL propaganda!

We need the fairness in broadcasting law back in effect. That way Rush could be free to pollute the airwaves with his tripe but it would have to be followed with a rebuttal so the simple minded (the majority of his audience) would not be so inclined to take EVERYTHING he says at face value!

He then goes on to insuate (Cuz Rush never REALLY says anything he could be held accountable for does he?) that ONLY CONservatives can celebrate Memorial day because liberals don't know how to truly "honor the dead's memory."

He then proceeds to "honor" the memory of the dead by using them for his own political gain!
