Rush is merely saying: "I hope you get what you wanted". Rush understands whats coming, the masses don't, or don't care. That's not much different than the old Chinese saying: "May you live in interesting times".

Really? Now which Policy did the GOP administrations initiate which provided the US with such collassal Debt?
ROFL... Notice how the position is framed in the context of PARTY... setting aside the whole thing where its the LEGISLATURE that spends money... every cent. NOT THE EXECUTIVE but the legislature... And while it's fair to say that the Republicans did in fact vote right along with the Democrats to induce that debt... it's NOT fair to say that CONSERVATIVES did...
That debt is a function of what? It's a function of deficit spending. Deficit spending is a function of what? It's a function of spending beyond the prescribed budget... Why did they spend beyond the budget? I mean the budgets were ENORMOUS... where, just form memory, GHW Bush or Bush 1, signed budgets of 1.5 trillion, Clinton shot through 2 trillion and GW Bush landed at close to or just over 3 trillion... and the lord of the Idiots; King Hussein is setting himself to sign a budget which provides for 4 trillion dollars in BUDGETED SPENDING. MUCH of which is SOCIAL ENTITLEMENTS... GIVE AWAYS...
So what were the reasons for spending OVER THOSE STAGGERING figures?
Well, let's see... there was of course the whole 9-11 thing; the US Global WAR on Terrorism... which resulted from the US being attacked, where in the span of two hours a TRILLION DOLLARS was sucked from the US economy... With the entire US Airline industry being shuit down for a week... in essence a fair chunk of the US Economy STOPPED... Does anyone recall the Left coming forward and suggesting that because of that crisis... that the US Government should table those entitlement give aways, so we could use those budgeted monies to prosecute the war against those who sought to cripple the US Economy which provides the menas for the US to GIVE THAT MONEY AWAY?

Of course not... Add to that, the 6 or 8 massive natural disasters that struck the US, wherein the US Federal government spent HUNDREDS of BILLIONS MORE in OFF BUDGET DEFICIT SPENDING... probably over a trillion when it was all said and done.
Does anyone recall the left coming forward and even SUGGESTING that those give away 'entitlements' be tabled, so those monies could be used to fund those Federal assistance programs to help those affected by those massive natural disasters? Or does anyone recall ANYONE coming forward and suggesting that Give-Away programs for disaster aide should not be advanced because the US Constitution doesn't provide that the rights of one individual should be usurped to subsidize the needs of another?

Those annual Deficits; thus the national DEBT is a function of give away programs designed into the Federal Budget, which take the place of those things called "CONSTITUTIONAL MANDATES" wherein the US Federal government has RESPONSIBILITIES TO DEFEND THE NATION...
Had the US Left come forward and simply offered to table their social policy and the MASSIVE SPENDING attached to that policy during the US Global War on terror... there wouldn't have been a DIME of Tax Payer money spent in deficit.
Had the Legislature said as a WHOLE: We can't fund these pet projects, these grants and other such items to build local this and thats... until we conclude our projects to sustain those injured by natural disasters and our fight against Radical islam... there would not have been a DIME spent in deficit... Had the Legislature said...'We're putting out pension payments to former Legislators on hold, many of whom only served one term... We're replacing our government paid healthcare with insurance policies which COME OUT OF OUR OWN POCKETS.... If the Legislature had said: "We cant' spend a BILLION DOLLARS on a welcome center...' and so on... until the Constitutional MANDATE TO PROVIDE FOR THE COMMON DEFENSE is secured... THERE WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN A DIME SPENT IN DEFICIT.
So don't even PRETEND that the GOP is holding all of this one... The GOP is part of the problem and it's a part of the problem BECAUSE THE GOP IS INFECTED BY AND SUFFERING THE CALAMITOUS AFFECTS OF LEFT-THINK!
Just because they're REPUBLICANS participating in LEFTIST POLICY FAILURES... the blame is NOT on the GOP... or the DNC for that matter... THE BLAME RESTS ON THOSE WHO ADVOCAATE LEFT-THINK; which rationalizes that there are good reasons to spend tax payer monies on things FOR WHICH THE US CONSTITUTION DOES NOT PROVIDE.
