8.ā€œReports Claim ā€œAnti-Trumpā€ SCOTUS Justice Roberts Afraid To Hear Election Fraud Cases Due To Liberal ā€œRiotsā€

This is the sort of integrity and principles one can expect from the Supreme Court Chief Justice.
  • Clearly an excuse to support Bidenā€¦.putting down or preventing riots is clearly not the Courtā€™s job.

9.And here is the proof that Supreme Court Justices are no different than any other human beings: Roberts resume has decades of clearly conservative decisions. But his dislike for a man, Trump, has him jettisoning all of his principles.

ā€œRoberts, the sudden swing vote on the divided court, has voted with the liberal majority in landmark several cases several times this term, including a case that struck down a Louisiana abortion law, expanded LGBTQ rights, and blocked the Trump administration from ending DACA.

Itā€™s the second time Roberts, a conservative nominated by President George W. Bush, has joined the liberal wing of the court to rule against challenges to coronavirus restrictions.

ā€œWhat happened to that judge?ā€ Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) wrote on Twitter, slamming Robertsā€¦

Trump has tossed thinly-veiled criticism at Roberts several times this year. When asked during interview with the Christian Broadcasting Network last month whether Roberts is ā€œworseā€ than past GOP-nominated justices, Trump said, ā€œSo far, weā€™re not doing so well. It says, look, youā€™ve had a lot of losses with a court that was supposed to be in our favor.ā€ The president stressed the importance of winning in November to ensure ā€œradical left group of judgesā€ donā€™t make it onto the court. The Washington Post reports Trump campaign advisers have said they will ā€œcontinue to make that point to Trumpā€™s supporters this summer.ā€

  • Where is the integrity if the Chief Justice tosses away principles for political gain??????

Robert Bork addresses the court, from the grave:

10. ā€œThere exists a fundamental contradiction between Americaā€™s most basic ordinance, its constitutional law, and the values by which Americans have lived and wish to continue to liveā€¦.Several things are to be observed about these developments. First, much constitutional law bears little or no relation to the Constitution. Second, the Supreme Courtā€™s departures from the Constitution are driven by ā€œelitesā€ against the express wishes of a majority of the public. The tendency of elite domination, moreover, is to press America ever more steadily toward the cultural left. ā€¦ the role of judges, who constitute the most powerful single force in producing these effects, politicians and bureaucrats bear a share of the responsibility."
Bork, ā€œA Country I Do Not Recognizeā€

"Trump: Supreme Court 'did not have the guts and the courage' to look into election concerns

Trump attacked the Supreme Court about their disregard to hear cases about concerns about election rules, zeroing in on the high court's refusal to hear a GOP-led case to challenge a Pennsylvania state court decision changing rules ahead of the 2020 election.

"Our election process is worse than that in many cases of the third-world country, you know that, you saw what was going on," Trump said during his speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference on Sunday. "Even if you consider nothing else, it is undeniable that election rules were illegally changed at the last minute and almost every swing state with the procedures rewritten by local politicians, youā€™re not allowed to do that, and local judges."

The former president emphasized that there are constitutional requirements state legislatures have to change or rewrite election rules, rather than local judges or officials, accusing the Supreme Court of lacking courage to take on the challenge."

Here, a personal one.....
Sad to state how correct I have been about the vaunted Supreme Court, which has been proven exactly as I have stated: As useless as rubber lips on a woodpecker.

1. Nowā€¦.the ā€˜third branch of our government,ā€™ ā€¦.isnā€™t.
It is not elected by the people, and that is the only authority our Founders put any faith in. And, as a matter of experience with human nature, ....don't make the mistake of assigning a higher level of integrity and honesty than anyone else. Certainly, we learned that about politicians, bureaucrats, heads of agencies, the Deep State, pastors, whatever.
And now.....about Supreme Court Justices.

Theyā€™re simply well-positioned lawyers. And as trustworthy as any other lawyer is.

2. The Supreme Court has no authority other than applying the words of the Constitution to lawsā€¦..it was never granted judicial review by the Constitution. it should be noted that the Constitution does not provide for what is called ā€˜judicial review,ā€™ nor is the concept found in English law.
That power was stolen by Marshall, and never repudiated for the simple reason that the Executive Branch was happy to have an ally that simply rubber-stamped increases of federal power.

3. Experts, 'scientists,' bureaucrats ...don't make the mistake of assigning a higher level of integrity and honesty to any of them, than anyone else. Not politicians, bureaucrats, economists, pastors....whatever. ..know that they have been forced to embrace the collective, oppose the separation of powers, and or checks and balances, and the result is a tyranny of bureaucrats .
Remember.....the Constitution is written in English.....and the Justices don't speak it any better than you or I.

4. Once you give the unelected power over your life, especially in the are of morality, you are ignoring what Talmon said:

ā€œThe latest variation of totalitarianism is neither religious, nor even political: it is cultural. ā€œTotalitarian democracyā€ is a term made famous by J. L. Talmon to refer to a system of government in which lawfully elected representatives maintain the integrity of a nation state whose citizens, while granted the right to vote, have little or no participation in the decision-making process of the government.ā€

Cultural totalitarianism is rule by the individual freed from all external authority or constraints, morality fully privatized with Judeo-Christian traditions under attack.

That is your Supreme Court. And they proved it during this election kerfuffle.
Had they obeyed their oath, and their allegiance to the Constitution, Trump would be the winner.

In a story just out, we find another note about the ineptitude of the Supreme Court in the stolen election.

"Jovan Pulitzer offered $10M to stay quiet about voter fraud
The Constitution does not offer a direct remedy for a situation in which a presidential election is deemed fraudulent after-the-fact. The Supreme Court may use its wide powers to fix things, but that seems very unlikely even with a so-called ā€œconservativeā€ lean in five of the nine Justices. If we learned anything in the last year or so, itā€™s that we cannot and must not rely on government or the judiciary to make things happen.

When Jovan Pulitzer gained fame for testifying before state legislatures about voter fraud, he was attacked heavily by mainstream media and Democrats. They tried to discredit the man in hopes that nobody would look at his astounding work in demonstrating how voter fraud was perpetrated during the 2020 election. When that didnā€™t work, they tried a different approach.

In a recent interview with David K. Clements on The Professorā€™s Record, Pulitzer revealed something only his inner circle had previously heard. When bullying didnā€™t work at silencing him, they tried the good olā€™ bribeā€¦ and what a bribe attempt it was.

ā€œSo you know how bad this is, and Iā€™m going to give you a nugget that nobody outside of my inner circle knows this,ā€ he said. ā€œI got offered $10 million dollars to not do this.ā€

"Unusual Supreme Court vote rules illegal immigrant can avoid deportation on technicality

The Supreme Court on Thursday ruled in favor of an illegal immigrant who was facing deportation, stating that they are entitled to discretionary relief because the government did not follow the rules.

Federal law says that an illegal immigrant in such a situation can avoid deportation at the attorney general's discretion if they have been in the U.S. for at least 10 years. The clock officially stops when they receive "a notice to appear" with information about their hearing. But in cases like plaintiff Agusto Niz-Chavez's, the government sent multiple documents containing different pieces of information. The court's majority ruled that because the law says "a" notice, that means it must be a single document."

Hence, the title of the thread.

They have long been nothing more than an extension of the parties. Now they seem to report to whichever party is in power. They are bailing on hard issues where they may be no choice but to rule aggainst the DNC. Just more politicians

ā€œNeil Gorsuch Tacitly Admits He Pulled the Wool Over Americans' Eyes in His Transgender Ruling

On Monday, the Supreme Court announced it would not take up Gavin Grimm v. Gloucester County School Board (2020), a high-profile case concerning whether or not Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 forbids schools from designating bathrooms according to biological sex.

A panel of the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled in favor of Grimm, a female student who identifies as male and sought to use the boysā€™ restroom. In the 2-1 ruling, Judge Henry F. Floyd twisted the Supreme Courtā€™s ruling in Bostock v. Clayton County (2020) in order to strike down the school boardā€™s policy.

The Supreme Court had the option of taking up the case and clarifying the issue, but the Court refused to grant certiorari. Justices Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito voted to take up the case. Neither they nor the Court as a whole issued any opinion explaining their reasoning.

The law does not forbid discrimination on the basis of ā€œgenderā€ but discrimination on the basis of ā€œsex,ā€ which until yesterday (in historical terms) meant biological sex as male or female.

This is about control, and forcing gender ideology on Americans through the twisting of decades-old law.ā€ Neil Gorsuch Tacitly Admits He Pulled the Wool Over Americans' Eyes in His Transgender Ruling

"Shapiro raises doubts about Kavanaugh and Barrett living up to conservativesā€™ high hopes for them

Author and conservative pundit Ben Shapiro is voicing his doubts over the lackluster performance of Supreme Court Justices Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett after the end of what he calls a ā€œmarkedly unambitiousā€ term.

ā€œSo far, we have seen little from either Barrett or Kavanaugh to justify conservativesā€™ high hopes for them,ā€ Shapiro stated in an interview with Fox News, referring to two of former President Donald Trumpā€™s appointees.

More and more it appears that Roberts, Kavanaugh, and Barrett will sit in the middle of the political whirlwind that is the Supreme Court and cannot be counted on to rule as originalists or even really as conservatives. Shapiro is warning that the high hopes of Republicans may be dashed on the legislative rocks when it comes to the Supreme Court."
