honestly, I think sex is very different for all people....
It's why I think it's discussed a lot, because we all have different wants/needs.

It's like a bell curve... maybe a lot of women want the same "general" things our of sex and a relationship in the middle of the curve, but there are those on the ends.

I'm on the ends - and many men just can not understand my desires or needs (so, it's a turn off to them because it's unfamiliar to them) - so in my history, I have found it easier to just "play along" - because having to give detailed instruction (part of my dysfunction) is a turn off to ME. Catch 22

Well you have been around this merry go round before.
I have been married 26 years. Separated once in 2000 for about 3 months, did the whole war declarations...filed divorce...the whole thing. But we decided to get back together...one I could not leave the kids, they would have actually stayed with me...but I could not both leave her and take her children away. Couldn't do it.
Wrong reasons I know, but glad I did. The kids are both fantastic people.
So a woman during the separation time swooped in and made me feel awesome...until I realized she is a conniving bitch who really wanted a piece of my income.
So now both kids are grown, and we are separated again. About 3 months now. I don't figure it will ever go back. Too much damage, too little of all that matters. We became two co-habitants, sharing the house and income but sharing nothing else...for a looong time.
Anyway, not that you have done all this, but your words speak of experience...unless your just that damn smart.
